BBYO is the leading pluralistic Jewish teen movement aspiring to involve Jewish teens in more meaningful Jewish experiences. This International organization has been shaping young teens for almost 100 years. While not directly affiliated with Congregation Beth Shalom, many of our teen members are actively involved leaders of this life-changing youth group.
We host local events every month and also participate in Chicago-area conventions, International leadership programs and more. BBYO welcomes Jewish teens of all backgrounds, denominational affiliation, gender, race, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status, including those with a range of intellectual, emotional, and physical abilities.
